Wonderful campground! Quiet and peaceful. Brand new surface on blacktop, private showers with private dressing area for each shower, totally shaded, 2 pools, tennis courts, mini golf, fishing, boating, on beautiful river. Near historical sites. Has nature educational center and nature trails. Lots of squirrels and birds. Perfect for children.

We rode through this campground in May to see if we wanted to stay there. The answer was definitely NO. What used to be really nice was not anymore. I understand that this was used by Katrina refugees and that they really messed it up. I am sure it will be spruced up, but call and check it out before you reserve a spot.
